Secara harfiah, review bermakna "tinjauan, ringkasan, tinjauan ulang." Jika ada frasa book review berarti bermakna tinjauan buku. Karenanya, review text bisa diartikan secara harfiah sebagai teks yang difungsikan untuk meninjau baik buku, produk kecantikan, mobil, hp, laptop dan lain sebagainya.

Ternyata review text bisa berfungsi sebagai to criticise an art work, event for a public audience. (untuk memberikan kritik terhadap suatu karya seni, ataupun lainnya untuk khalayak umum).

Generic Structure dari Review Text terdiri dari :

• Orientation : places the work in its general and particular context, often by comparing it with others of its kind or through an analog with a non–art object or event. (menempatkan karya yang ditinjau pada konteks umum ataupun khusus, biasanya dengan membandingkan dengan karya lain yang sejenis atau melalui analogi obyek yang bukan karya seni.)

• Interpretive Recount : summarize the plot and/or providers an account of how the reviewed rendition of the work came into being.(meringkas alur cerita "jika mereview buku" bagaimana cara penyampaian karya tersebut)

• Evaluation : provides an evaluation of the work and/or its performance or production; is usually recursive.(memberikan sebuah evaluari karya ataupun penampilan, produksi; evaluasi ini biasanya berulang-ulang)

Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stones

Judged by this first volume, the Harry Potter books are a fine addition to English children’s fantasy literature. Harry Potter, orphaned when his parents are killed by the evil wizard Voldemort, is taken in by his aunt and uncle, who are Muggles – ordinary, non-magical people. Harry is rather out of place there, but things improve greatly for him when goes to the Hogwarts School of  Witchcraft and Wizardry – except that one of  the staff is in league with Voldemort

Part of  the attention of  Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone comes from the familiar but at the same time exotic setting of  an English public school, complete with houses and schoolboy adventures, in which Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione struggle to save the world and win the house cup.
So Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be a great Christmas present for kids who haven’t read it yet – and it is a book that adults (at least those without stunted imaginations) can read as well.

Flood

There are many kinds of natural disaster. One of which is flood. Flood is a condition that the water level increases because of the stuffing off of the water current in the river or moat. Rain usually occurs because of heavy rains and human activities.

Flood happen because human activities, such as illegal logging, littering, and so on. For example people throw garbage in the river, so the river became clogged, and if heavy rains come, the river will overflow and cause flooding

Flood has many effects like death, financial loss, disease, damage to public facilities and infrastructure, and many more. We can prevent flood by cleaning the environment by doing reforestation, dispose of waste in place, clean gutters and clogged rivers, etc.

How The fuel lamp working

Many cars, motorcycles and other modern vehicles have fuel warning light devices. the warning light is usually red which switches on automatically when the level of fuel in the tank is very low. The warning light gives the driver information about the amount of petrol in the tank. When the light switches on red, it tells the driver that the petrol in the tank is almost empty. Therefore he have to put more fuel into the tank. However do you know how the fuel warning works?
Well this is the way the fuel warning light work and gives the driver information about the accurate amount of the petrol in the tank. When the level of the fuel falls, the float inside the tank moves downwards. When this condition happens, the arm also moves downwards and it make the lever touch an electrical contact. This switches on the fuel light in the car dashboard.
The red light which appears in the fuel panel of the dashboard tells the driver that he needs more petrol for his car. When he pours more petrol into the tank, this condition makes the fuel level rise and it pushes the float upwards. In return it disconnects to the electrical contact and makes the red light switch off.

Why I chose Chemical Engineering?

                My name is Rofi Ahmad and I’m student at Ahmad Dahlan Univesity. I wan’t to tell my little story before I studies here, Like other student who not accepted via SNMPTN after UN, i know in the high school i’m not prepare done for SNMPTN  so  I prepare  more better before SBMPTN. I have friend in common with me, both  i’m rarely study and my friend always plays game. I’ts the problem why we not pass the SNMPTN exam. I try to join SBMPTN exam, in the SBMPTN i chose informatic engineering UNDIP and chemical engineering UGM, Neither i’m not accepted in the informatic engineering nor I accepted in the chemical engineering.

 Not only me who didn’t accepted but also my friend not accepted too. I must chose! I take exam for next year nor  i didn’t  pass the exam in the second more. Either  i’m not continue the study or i’m register another college, so i chose to register at Ahmad Dahlan University. I chose chemichal engineering or I chose industrial engineering. I prefer chemichal engineering for my hobby it’s like to experiment. I like study chemistry but i’m do not really know stokiometri. Then I learn stokiometri  yet i didn’t understand. Therefore I study hard again such as when dealing with the UN and I have more good value in chemistry lesson like past time in the high school.
